I'm having trouble with my cats being selectivcely incontinent. The girl cat pees on the floor by the litter box every day and sh#ts on the rug. The boy cat peed in my room-mate's clothes right in front of her and somebody pooed INsisde my backpack, ON my clean clothes. What the hell? They are both mature adult cats who have been fixed since they were very little. The litter box is kept clean, they do use it and we haven't switched brands of litter or food or anything. Nobody's sick, this is purely behavioral. Help!! Any ideas?

Re: pee problem
Mon, July 23, 2007 - 11:30 AMThere's a spray call Feliway. It has calming happy cat pheromones. www.feliway.uk.com/feliway_uk.nsf/Page We have a small house. I was skeptical at first, but it does help calm my cats and we've had very few problems since I started using it.
It's recommended you have 1 litter box per cat. Not only keeping it meticulously clean, but each having their own helps.
This might help

Best of luck. It's really tough when they start peeing everywhere. -

Re: pee problem
Mon, July 23, 2007 - 8:32 PMThank you, Tracey. In a previous house we had two litter boxes but they didn't use one so we got rid of it. Maybe I'll try that again.. The website was very useful, thank you.
