...No one told me before I got my dog that dalmatians shed an entire family of terriers each day. I love him, mostly because he is a part of me.....the furry part stuck in my lungs and throat.

Sat, May 8, 2004 - 1:04 AMYou should try Nupro! Awesome stuff that - cuts down on the shedding by at least 60%! This stuff works really well. We put all our rescued Dalmatians on it and we see a huge difference after about 4 weeks: the white fur is softer, white is whiter, the spots are more brilliant, and the shedding decreases greatly!
We don't sell it, but highly recomend it!

Re: It's a shame...
Tue, May 18, 2004 - 6:34 PMHmmm....I'll give it a shot, but if you never hear from me again, his gas attacks killed me. I find the more expensive and hoity toity the food, the more lethal his emmissions. I am probably under supervision by the EPA already as a possible unregulated manufacturer of toxic materials. -

Re: It's a shame...
Tue, May 18, 2004 - 8:15 PMToo funny! Do they lay silent bombs that you walk into, or do you know when they've done it because they look guilty?
Seriously though, I've taken to supplementing my cats food with a small portion of chicken breast 2 or 3 times a week. Seems to have cut down on emissions, but can't tell you adefinitive reason.
The vet said there'd been some preliminary studies that found kibble is cooked at such high temperatures that the proteins themselves are chemically altered, sometimes making them less digestable. Anyone else heard of this?
